Deuteronomy 18:15-20
As the people of Israel prepare to enter the Promised Land, Moses instructs them. At Sinai, their leaders have found direct contact with God to be beyond them, so God has appointed Moses as his emissary.
1 Corinthians 8:1-13
Paul continues to answer questions put to him by Corinthian Christians. Much of the meat sold in markets was left over from pagan festivals.
Mark 1:21-28
After his temptation by the devil, Jesus has called Peter, Andrew and the sons of Zebedee to be his disciples. Now he begins his ministry – at a town on the shore of the Sea of Galilee.
