Genesis 28:10-17 Isaac has given Jacob his blessing and has dispatched him to find a wife among his own clan. Like Isaac, Jacob is expected to marry among his own people, but unlike his father, he gets to make the journey himself. Revelation 12:7-12 John has written of a vision in which there are two figures: a woman and a dragon. The woman has given birth to a son, the Messiah. The son has been snatched away and taken to God, thus avoiding being devoured by the evil dragon. Now Michael and his angels fight in the cause of godliness. John 1:47-51 Two of John’s disciples, Andrew and Simon Peter, have decided to follow Jesus. The next day, Jesus has invited Philip to follow him. Philip has told Nathanael that he has found the one of whom the Scriptures speak. © 1996-2022 Chris Haslam |
