St Paul's church was founded in 1877 and consecrated by Bishop Farthing in 1910.

Situated in the community of Dunany, St Paul's offers services to the large cottage community during the summer. Though St Paul's is an Anglican church, the community is made up of people from a number of denominations making it an example of grass-roots ecumenism. Though closed during the winter, St Paul's hosts a Christmas Eve service.
St Paul's is also blessed with a cemetery, which is still in use.
In September, 1996, we lit a Peace Candle as a sign of our commitment to peace.

St Paul's Cemetery occupies a secluded lot of land some distance behind the church in the woods. A private road connects the tiny cemetery to the church property. The cemetery may be visited at any time.
To get to Lachute from Montreal, take Highway 15 North to exit 35. Take Highway 50 to exit 260 (about 25 km). Turn right onto Bethany Street. Continue to the end of Bethany (about 2 km) and turn right onto Rue Principale at the lights. Dunany Road is on the left, after just less than a kilometre. There is a People's Church on the corner. Turn left onto Dunany Road. Cross the bridge, then turn left at the T junction. Continue up Dunany Road for about 10 km. Coming around a curve at the top of a hill, St Paul's steeple will suddenly loom up before you. St Paul's Church is on your right, just at the bottom of the hill. You can't miss it.
