Grace Anglican Church is located in Sutton in the beautiful hills of the Eastern Townships of Quebec. The church is situated at the south end of town, on the main street, at 52 Principale sud. We welcome you to come and visit us at anytime. Come in and see our beautiful stained glass windows. Join us on a Sunday morning and meet some our beautiful people. During the 159 years that our church community has been here, we have gone through many changes. The church community has gone through many ups and downs in its life, but continues to grow in spirit and in maturity of faith. We are not a large congregation. However, we believe that "small is beautiful" and here you can enjoy the personal touch. It's nice to go to a place where everybody knows your name and you are included. Sunday Services People come to church every Sunday morning at 10:30 am to worship together. People don't go to church anymore to show off their fancy hats or prove that they are good citizens. Those days are gone. Today, people come to church because they want to hear God's word for them. They want to sing and pray with others who are searching for the meaning of life. We try to make our Sunday services a meaningful experience in which people are spiritually nourished and find strength for the week ahead. Please join us any time you are in town. Activities Some of our yearly activities include parish suppers, a children's
summer day camp, rummage sales and a bazaar, and hospitality to visitors.
Many of our people are actively involved in the local community in many
volunteer capacities. History Grace Church was built in 1846 and has continued to serve the small
community of Sutton since that time. Our history
page describes the building of the church and the many clergy who have
served alongside of the lay people down through the years.
