HISTORY

Seaman Hall - Our Original Church
The original Church of the Resurrection in this community opened in 1924, using the Church pictured above, when Valois and Pointe Claire were "summer cottage" communities.

Today, our congregation is drawn both from Pointe Claire and neighbouring West Island communities, including Pierrefonds, Dorval, and Kirkland.

In 1999, we celebrated our 75th anniversary with an anniversary dinner & special worship service, in the spring, and a community parade, with pipe band, followed by Evensong, in the Fall.

Currently we share the use of our building with St. Maximillien's Polish Mission (R.C.).
