WEDDINGS
The sacrament of Holy Matrimony is administered by the Anglican Church for Christians only.
Those who do not share the Christian faith and its concept of marriage are advised to have a civil marriage performed.
At the Church of the Resurrection, the Rector prefers advance notice of four to six months, so that marriage interviews can be arranged with the couple, to complete necessary government and Church forms, and to plan the details of the marriage ceremony.
A reminder that if one or both of the parties is divorced, application must be made to the Diocesan Matrimonial Commission, and permission to re-marry in the Anglican Church must be obtained before arrangements for re-marriage can be finalized.
FEES: for use of the Church: $125.00; for organist: $125.00; for Secretary: $25.00.
